Does It Really Matter What Shampoo You Use?
Shampoo your hair, hair care shampoo, does shampoo matter
Use of Shampoo will be ideal if you suffer from hair loss or damaged hair.
The type of shampoo is important. The right shampoo will do a lot of good.
If hair loss is the problem, use the shampoo specifically made to solve
it.
Proper use of the shampoo will slow down the hair loss. Ultimately it may
even stop. Hair loss is generally hereditary. Even then using the right
shampoo prevent chances of hair loss to a large extend.
Damaged hair is another common problem.
What kinds of damaged hair are there?
One of the causes for damaged hair is the frequent use of hair drier.
Second cause is the materials used for dying the hair.
A no-rinse shampoo is the best type against damaged hair. Even if there
is damage, the shampoo will do to nullify it.
The right shampoo can work against dry hair. Head and Shoulders shampoo and Tea Tree Oil shampoo are considered the best to eliminate the problem of dry hair.
In the case of curly hair, the oil produced in the scalp cannot travel
down the hair shaft as easily as in the straight hair. As a result, curly
hair is almost dry hair. Creamy, moisturizing shampoos are the best against
this.
Shampooing must followed by conditioning. Go for an ultra-moisturizing
conditioner meant for coarse hair. A hot oil treatment every month can
also be thought.
Fine hair may look oily. Opt for clear shampoos and not creamy shampoos,
which may suit curly hair. A good ‘fine hair’ shampoo will consist Panthenol,
a bodybuilding ingredient, which make hair thicker.
If oily hair is the problem, avoid shampoos & conditioners meant for
curly, colored or dry hair.
Why waste money on shampoo when Pantene is there? This is the question you normally hear. When you want to buy shampoo, bear in mind the following points:
1. What are the ingredients? Opt for shampoo without sodium laureth sulfate as an ingredient, as this will remove moisture from the hair. No harm in going for those containing ‘gentle cleansers’. Baby shampoos are generally mild and can be used.
2. Be careful while using shampoos for colored hair: There are shampoos meant for colored hair. Actually these shampoos contain strong ingredients that can actually remove hair with color. Prefer the one earmarked ‘gentle’.
3. Give importance to description: Better believe the descriptions written on the cover. Moisturizing, volumizing, frizz-reducing, shine enhancing are the ones you can see. The description may be true. We have to believe what the manufacturer says.
4. Go ahead with a shampoo you like: If you are happy with a particular shampoo and feel that you are getting benefited, continue using it. If your hair is limp, frizzy or dry, you may need a haircut, a deep conditioning or some other product that will fight the frizz. Do not blame shampoo.
